A Jedi Guardian Droid is a training droid specifically focused on providing Jedi training against other saber-wielding foes. The droid is programmed to fight in the style of Sith warriors, but is not programmed to kill and opponents. It will automatically retreat if it has downed too many of the people attacking it.
A Jedi Training Droid is specifically designed to hone the fighting skills of Jedi. It is bipedal and usually equipped with an energy shield and blaster (can be equipped with a training lightsaber).
