About the Campaign
Rebellion Begins is a Star Wars role playing tale about Arya, an Echani Force-wielding armorer and Guardian, trained in the Echani tradition of the Force, who has been drawn into the fight against the Empire and growing Darkness. While never on the Jedi path herself, she is defining her own way to the Light that draws her deeper into the ways of the Force and the Rebellion.
Arya is a non-canon RPG character played by Chad within a storyline imagined (and GMed) by Kathy. Kathy's telling of the story begins a few years prior to the events of Rogue One and parallels Andor, Solo: A Star Wars Story, and Star Wars: Rebels. While there may be similarities to the events of those shows (especially Andor), typically gameplay predated the airing of episodes. In short, any story similarities are largely coincidence.
Episode summaries have been composed and/or generated from gameplay notes. Prior to June 2023, the summaries were all authored by Chad. Because the pace of the campaign exceeded his ability to author posts in a timely manner, post-June content has been generated from heavily edited notes via ChatGPT. Chad edits the AI-generated articles to align the content with gameplay.
