Back Room Dealings

After the Rebel fleet drops out of hyperspace, the Porgatu flies to the flagship where the party gets their reward and has an interesting talk with General Syndulla. They’re commissioned as Rebel agents and given their first mission. They break from the fleet and fly off to Ambria where Kantarra contacts Gwar and arranges for a rendezvous where the party now is on “The Back Room,” a space station orbiting Ambria III. As they wait, Kantarra and Cheebs visit a weapons shop.

Deus ex machinis

C4-BL3 & Cheebs extricate themselves from the Thrifty’s clearing and get away clean, thanks to the droideka’s covering fire … and the sudden appearance of Kiarra’s ship overhead. Seeing the Imperial assault ship lift off, they double back for a quick parts raid on the Thrifty. Returning to the Porgatu, they finish hyperdrive repairs and start fixing the hatch & droideka while C4-BL3 deploys his droid listening array to stay on alert.

Epsilon and Omicron

The party ventures into the huge ghost ship. Cheebs stuns a mouse droid which becomes C4-BL3’s newest friend, but it flees when a frightening new red droid appears. They learn more about the ship’s history and the rivalry between this new droid, “Epsilon,” and the pirate AI, “Omicron.” Accompanying Epsilon to a strange chapel, the group learns the droid is a protector of “The Light,” but in an unfortunate misunderstanding the droid attacks Cheebs. Kantarra finishes the fight in her usual style.

Four fuzzy Tauntauns & one Ugly Bantha

The Porgatu crew gathers intel on their target and other mysterious players in a game they don’t fully understand. The droids find evidence that Nix’s faction is in turn watching the party, and C4-BL3 fries their spying astromech. Eventually they hatch a plan to pose as buyers of the target’s stolen tech – but when they speak to him, they learn of the tech’s sinister nature. In a sudden turn of events, the party agrees to spirit the target offworld – just as a rival faction bursts into the Ugly Bantha with guns blazing.

From the Frying Pan into the fire

While Kantarra “delays” the Metatheran thugs, Cheebs & C4-BL3 follow Crag and recover the camtono with a threatening aura. Meeting back up at the Porgatu, they were tailed and noted the Nautolan heading for a nearby docking bay. Launching into orbit, they see a gunship follow. Cheebs lays a trap for their pursuer at a planetoid in the nearby Gizer system. Kantarra reveals a dark bargain struck with Crag. But lying in ambush they are in turn surprised by the early arrival of 4 starfighters which come in from all sides of the planetoid with ECM jamming blaring. The Porgatu opens fire, badly damaging 2 of the craft, but one of the unknown starfighters lands laser blasts on the shuttle, sending it into a spin.

Ghost Pirate Whispers

The crew starts to prep for its next job, listening for rumors of the “ghost ship” Gen. Syndulla set them to find. C4-BL3 is dazzled by a chance meeting with a personal hero, an INN reporter, but the others whisk him away before he can give her any data. Kantarra’s contact arrives, and the hand-off and job payment comes off without a hitch. They launch, heading outsystem, acquiring and compiling data to help them in their upcoming search of Ambria’s asteroid belt.

Gok-Talk & The Group Hit

Cheebs hammers out favorable terms with Gok-Tok for purchase of the Porgatu, and he drafts a profit-sharing plan for the crew. After a quick detour to test their new weapons systems – and a strange close call when they drop out of hyperspace in the path of a Star Destroyer – they arrive at Phaseera. Kantarra fills them in on her job there: A type of “hit” which, for the first time, the rest of the crew prepares to help her with.

Hard Work Between Jobs

The party performs all their planned repairs and upgrades themselves at Kirian Shipworks. The party seeks a buyer for their illicit cargo of battledroids but balks, getting a bad vibe from the interested party. Vaha Nacc advises them regarding ship registrations and updates and gives them details on their next Kirian Shipworks mission. Kantarra also lines up a potential job further rimward.

Into the Maelstrom

Cruising toward the asteroid belt, the crew builds a makeshift decoy. Entering the belt, their sensors are wiped out, the decoy doesn’t seem to trigger any reaction, and they lose track of it. Groping blindly, the Porgatu suddenly passes through a magnetic field and discovers a blasted Imperial base inside. They are bounced by 3 strange TIE designs, but they use their new weaponry to good effect and blast all three. Suddenly a hulking ghost ship appears and catches them in a tractor beam.

Kirian Shipworks

Landing safely at Kirian Shipworks, the party delivers the promised (if belated) shipment. They tell their story to Vaha Nacc, the calculating but hopefully trustworthy Kel Dor proprietor. Working together, Cheebs and Kantarra strike a deal to repair the badly damaged Porgatu – and for ongoing work with Vaha Nacc,.

The Rebels – including *their* G-1A, tracking them from Phaseera – are keenly interested in the shipment of Trionex the party recovered from Pirin. The Porgatu arranges a trade for salvaged weaponry, docks with one of the capital ships, and begins repairs. They agree to go along with the Rebels as the fleet jumps outsystem. C4-BL3 upgrades their computer security.

Operation Manka Cat

2 ABY – 06 Echo – 28 Zheliday (Ktil) When Kantarra signed on with Ban-San Transport, she made a promise to Gok-tok to protect the crew. So when R3-M3 fell into Imperial hands, she knew what she needed to do. She also knew if she told Cheebs or Cable about her rescue mission, they might want …
